Co-operative Futures is recognised as one of the leading policy promoters in the field of co-operative and community owned enterprise. It uses its experience of working with enterprises and co-operatives on the ground to influence the development of social enterprise strategy and policy at a local, regional and national level.

Co-operative Futures understands policy development is a two-way process and we will always work to ensure that policies accurately reflect the strengths and needs of the co-operative and community owned enterprise sector. Co-operative Futures has been actively involved in a number of policy initiatives including:
